DEPARTMENT OF LIFELONG LEARNING AND  EXTENSION (DLLE) is established in Shri S.H.Kelkar College of Arts,Commerce & Science, Devgad from Academic Year 2006-07 to promote meaningfull & sustained rapport between College & community . It is functioning under board of Lifelong Learning & Extension.(DLLE)  , University Of Mumbai with Diverse academic & Technical resources supports a community based extension work activities in collaboration with its specific mandate to work for the Less privileged sections of the society & improve the quality of Life of such groups   with the central objective of REACH TO UNREACHED . Aim of department is to create social awareness , social commitment among the student through adopting social issues and problem by carrying out various project which create social awareness among  students .

It be noted that the nature and activities to be carried out including the administrative and financial aspects are very different from N.S.S. and N.C.C. Therefore, the students or teachers who are already participating in N.S.S., N.C.C. or Cultural Activities / Competitions are not eligible to register under Extension Work Project.

The students participating in the Extension Work under this Department Of Lifelong Learning And  Extension (DLLE) are entitled to the benefit of TEN GRACE MARKS on the satisfactory completion of 120 hours of work under various Extension Work Projects undertaken & Submission of Project Report under University Ordinance 229.A in an academic Year .
